A few people have asked so I am making a overall  purchase list of my build.  If links are outdated let me know. This is a all aftermarket build except what i had to get through Harley.

Possible cheaper / faster option now available!! - Unknown i haven't done the calculations (my bike is built at time of this new option). "Fairing Factory" has started making a stereo based inner fairing (for either 4 - 6.5" or 2- 8" speakers) . Comparing the prices below to the cost of the fairing factory's kit it should save some money and eliminate the dreaded wait time of HD parts. 

This kit eliminates the need for: 

• gloveboxes ($120)
• glovebox doors ($80)
• glovebox hinges ($40
• speaker pods  ($105)
• HD Bracket - radio ($225)
• stereo mount face bracket ($40)

If you decide to go with this kit obviously the parts list above from amazon would change some.

  OPTIONAL *** STEREO ***  OPTIONAL 

I typically run a dummy stereo or delete plate in the stereo hole, then a Bluetooth amp, and speakers all hidden from view but very functional. Run it all off my phone. This is Very Very VERY loud and works great on a budget. You can hear it at speed w/ a full face helmet.      

• Kenwood 400w bluetooth marine amp on amazon $300     
• (2) DS18 - 6.5"  - $90     
• (2) DS18 horns  -$50    

If you want a actual head unit stereo you need to purchase the following:                

• Radio - $250-$700          
• Radio adapter faceplate $40  

(If you do the head unit without a amp you will not be able to hear the stereo above 70mph without a larger windshield)
