180 Tire Bag Brackets

180 tire saddlebag bracket - I built this bracket to fit both FL bags and other smaller bags. You may have to relocate the turn signals, exhaust depending on what bags / mount option you choose. The 180 tire brackets is also now adjustable width !

This will allow for custom angles so extended bagger fender bag kits can tuck the bags up against the fender!

Has 1” width adjustment, 1” up / down play, 1” forward / back. Allowing you to put the bags where ever you want them to!

I also re-angled the bag side plate to accommodate air ride bikes.

See section below for type of bags & details

*****small /med bags *****
If you want something simple bolt on the easy answer is to put smaller bags on the vrod.  Put these mounts on and mount any bag 20” or smaller - mounts no problems easy. Clears shocks, Most will clear the exhaust and turn signals clear - take measurements to make sure of this.

The pictures above are the "strong bags" from tsukayu - they will clear exhaust and shocks (see picture of grey bike with full VRSCA exhaust) you will need to do something with blinkers in order to tuck them in tight to the bike (they will fit in the extended out position if you decide to do that). A few options of bags are tsukayu, saddleman, viking.

******FL (touring Harley bags)******

FL bags are BIG - 24". This presents a few problems but it can be overcome.

The only "NEED" is to get a lower / shorter style exhaust. The other smaller issues is the blinkers and shocks, the FL bags are built for touring bikes, the shock tunnel is at a different location & angle behind the bag than the vrod shock. The blinkers are just in the way. I built these brackets so they kick the bag out just enough to clear both the shock and the blinkers. (in the fully adjusted outward position).

Some people want the FL bags pulled in super tight to the bike though, this especially is the case if its a custom bagger tail or larger diameter shocks (arnott shocks with thier 1" standoff).  The solution for this is to angle or "notch the bags".  Please refer to that page for more information on this process.
